This document was written based on the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Residential Camp Public Orders from July 5, 2020 and current ODH mandates. Ohio District Camp will run for three weeks in the summer of 2021. We must reduce the capacity of the cabins to comply with the health orders of the ODH. We will reduce capacity to 50%. • 3 cabins will hold up to 8 campers and 2 staff • 1 cabin – Lakeside will hold up to 4 campers and 2 staff • 1 cabin – Poolside will hold up to 10 - 12 campers and 2 staff • Total capacity is no more than 40 campers per week With the reduction in the number of campers that we can hold, a decision has been made to forgo the National FOCA Junior Olympics for 2021. National FOCA President Allison Steffaro agrees with this decision. Since we will not conduct JO, we will adjust the ages of Campers for this year to the following: • June 27 – July 3 – ages 8*-10 • July 4 – July 10 – ages 11-13 • July 11 – July 17 – ages 14 to 18** *We will adjust the age of Campers to start Camp to 8. Over the years, we have found that children under 8 have more difficulties being away at Camp, from missing their families to not being able to shower themselves. This move to 8 years old will be a permanent policy. **For 2021 only, we will allow the 2021 high school graduates the opportunity to attend the third week of Camp. The 2020 camping season would have been their last year of Camp. Policies regarding Campers during Covid Pandemic: • All campers must bring proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of arrival is required • If the Camper has been in contact with someone who has tested positive within 14 days of check-in, they can not attend Camp • Campers temperatures will be taken and recorded at least once a day (morning), including upon arrival • It is recommended that Campers & Staff 16 and over be vaccinated • If a Camper or Staff has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, they will be immediately isolated. They will be screened for COVID symptoms (Cough, Shortness of Breath, Chills, Shakes with Chills, Muscle Pain, Unusual Headache, Sore Throat, New loss of taste or smell, unusual fatigue, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea). Temperature will be retaken after a rest period and if the fever persists, they will be sent home • Campers will only be able to attend one week of Camp • Campers will be grouped by Cabin for all activities and meals • Campers will not have in/out privileges throughout the week. If they leave for sports tournaments, family obligations, etc. they cannot return. Policies regarding Camp Staff (Directors, Counselors, Kitchen Staff/Clergy (weekly or day-by-day) • Proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of arrival or proof of vaccination o If Staff members will need to travel off-site for any reason, they must show proof of vaccination or they will not be able to travel off the Camp premises • If a Staff Member has been in contact with someone who has tested positive within 14 days, we ask that they not attend Camp • Staff temperatures will be taken and recorded at least once a day (morning), including upon arrival General Notes: • Any church services that can be held outside of the chapel will be in order to avoid overcrowding within the chapel • A back-pack disinfectant sprayer has been donated to Camp and will be used to disinfect ll surfaces in the bath houses and Rec. Hall at least twice daily and the Mess Hall after each meal o Petra Tools ULV500 Professional Surface Cleaner o PetraMax™ ultra low volume backpack fogger • Cabins will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before Campers arrive on each Sunday • No Campers will be allowed to stay over a weekend • Hand sanitizer will be prominently placed around the facilities • On-site Registration/Drop-off and Pick-up times will be limited to time slots and parents will need to register for a time to drop off their Camper(s) • Parent per camper allowed in the cabin for bunk set-up/tear-down. Any parent entering a cabin must have been vaccinated or have proof of negative Covid test. • Ask that families limit the number non-campers on premises for drop-off and pick-up. We STRONGLY recommend that no more than 2 family members accompany the camper for drop off and pick up • Masks will be required as per the ODH mandates as of the date of Camp • Day visitors are prohibited this year. • Policies and procedures are subject to change or Camp is subject to cancellation based on any new, renewed, removed Ohio Department of Health mandates

St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA COVID 10 Liability Waiver I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing. I further acknowledge that St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I further acknowledge that St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, staff, volunteers, chaperones, and their families. I voluntarily admit my child to attend camp provided by St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk of exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending my appointment. I attest that: * The Camper is not experiencing any symptom of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. * The Camper has not traveled internationally within the last 14 days. * The Camper has not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days. * The Camper does not believe he/she has been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 in the last 14 days. * The Camper has not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities. * The Camper is following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I hereby release and agree to hold St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the camp, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA.I understand that this release discharges St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the camp with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from St. Vladimir’s Camp and the Ohio District FOCA. This liability waiver and release extends to the camp together with all officers, trustees, employees, volunteers and chaperones. Parent/Guardian Signature ______________________________________
