Session 1: June 29th - July 5th

Campers will explore, create, and grow in faith while having the time of their lives! Each day is packed with thrilling outdoor activities such as swimming, games, and team-building activities that encourage teamwork and confidence. Campers will get to express their creativity through hands-on crafts, making everything from friendship bracelets to painted prayer stones—perfect keepsakes to remember their time at camp.

In addition to all the fun, campers will take part in engaging, age-appropriate discussions about faith, where they can ask big questions, share their thoughts, and learn about Christ’s love in a way that speaks to their young hearts. Morning Matins set a positive tone for the day and evening prayers bring the excitement of the day to a quiet close.

Throughout the week, campers will not only develop a deeper understanding of their faith but also build friendships that could last a lifetime. By the end of camp, they’ll leave with hearts full of joy, new skills, unforgettable memories, and a stronger connection to Christ and their fellow campers. It’s a week of laughter, learning, and love—one they’ll cherish forever!

Session 1 is for campers aged 8-12.

Session 2: July 6th - 12th FOCA Junior Olympics

Campers will experience the thrill of friendly competition while growing in faith and friendship. Divided into teams, campers will compete in a variety of exciting sports, from soccer to swimming, frisbee to football, and more! Every match, relay, and challenge is an opportunity to push their limits, celebrate teamwork, and cheer on their friends to victory.

Campers will have the chance to earn medals and awards, but more importantly, they’ll learn how sports and faith go hand in hand—how teamwork, perseverance, and encouragement reflect the values of Orthodox Christian living. Daily Matins, Evening prayers and discussions with resident clergy will help campers dive into lessons about integrity, sportsmanship, and the power of unity in Christ.

As the week unfolds, campers will not only get to express their athletic skills but also strengthen their bonds with teammates and grow in their relationship with God. This week is perfect for campers who love to get up, get going, and have a blast! We encourage athletes of all types- including those who can dominate in the game of ping-pong, or even checkers! There is a place for everyone here, and whether they’re racing to the finish, trying a new sport, or simply lifting each other up, they’ll leave camp with lifelong memories, stronger faith, and friendships that last well beyond the final whistle!

Session 2 is for campers aged 10-17.

Session 3: July 13th - 19th

This is a time for teens to step away from the distractions of everyday life and reconnect—with their faith, their friends, and themselves. Surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation, campers will deepen their spiritual journey through daily matins, thoughtful discussions, and immersive Orthodox Christian teachings, both in church and in group reflections.

Alongside these meaningful moments, they’ll express their creativity through arts and crafts, explore new talents, and bond over shared experiences. Outdoor activities bring excitement and adventure, from a game of water volleyball to friendly kickball and team challenges.

As the sun sets, the day ends in the most cherished way— evening prayers and then gathering around a cozy campfire, sharing stories, singing songs, and strengthening the friendships that will last a lifetime. At St. Vlad’s, every moment is an opportunity for growth, laughter, and making memories that will stay in their hearts long after camp ends.

Session 3 is for campers aged 13-17. Oldest age of campers are rising high school seniors.

Mission & Values:

We aim to provide a safe camp setting for children and adults in an Orthodox Christian community of worship, witness, service, and fellowship centered on Jesus Christ.

Situated away from daily routines, we strive to grow spiritually through humble studies of our faith and love for Christ. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, our campers are involved in activities that teach the values of friendship, teamwork, and leadership.

  • Worship: We corporately ascribe praise, glory, and thanksgiving to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit during the morning Matins, evening prayer services, devotions, and the Sacrament of Confession. This is culminated by receiving Holy Communion in the Divine Liturgy.
  • Fellowship: We strive as brothers and sisters in Christ to bring our faith into sporting, recreational, and social activities. Discussion groups provide opportunities to share what we have learned and experienced in our daily walk with Christ.
  • Education: We learn the Word of God and the Teachings of the Church in daily Bible study and religion groups led by priests and staff. In addition, we learn how to share with one another our revealed experiences through the grace of the Holy Spirit.
  • Service: We minister to each other by loving and serving mankind, thereby living in the image of God. By devoting our time, talents, and money, we respectfully maintain the camp’s facilities, we contribute to Orthodox Missions and other causes, and we help our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Our organization has been serving the faithful for over a decade. Part of our mission is to spiritually uplift our community, and work towards a greater good. We are tireless in our efforts to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. We help those seeking spiritual healing and enlightenment find the path that will lead them to a higher power. Our faith based outreach serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow man, and serve as a guiding light.
  • Family: We are a family. Current and former campers refer lovingly to the friendships formed at camp as ‘camp family’. Every year our family grows, and with this growth we have been able to accomplish more; having a larger impact upon the Orthodox community. We welcome you with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of our faith based family.
