Registration: For a camper to be registered, we must receive the requirements below prior to the start of camp session:
- Completed Registration forms
- Completed Medical forms
- Tuition paid in full for each camper/session
- Online payments can be made via our website
- If necessary, checks can be made payable to St. Vladimir’s Camp sent to 7685 Edgewood Ln, Seven Hills, OH 44131
Cancellation: We appreciate prompt notification if a camper must cancel. Cancellations before June 20th will receive a refund of $250. After June 20th, no refunds of tuition will be made with the exception of cases of family emergency.
Insurance: All campers should be covered by their family medical policy. While St. Vladimir’s Camp and/or FOCA will act as guarantor, any costs incurred by the Camp or FOCA in providing required treatment for doctor’s appointments, prescriptions, etc., will be billed to the parents and/or guardian.
Medical Information: Medical forms must be filled out in their entirety by a parent/guardian and the camper’s primary care provider. We reserve the right to charge a $25 fee for any forms received late.
Billing Information: Full tuition payments are due upon online registration, or the camper’s spot may be forfeited. All balances will be billed to the campers’ parents/guardian, regardless of any parish subsidies. Inquire with your parish to find out if they offer programs to subsidize camper tuition costs. If you applied for a scholarship please make a note upon registration so your balance reflects that.
Cabin Assignments: Campers stay in cabins with eight to eighteen campers and two to four counselors. Campers are grouped according to age and gender. We are unable to accept roommate requests.
Photos: Counselors will be taking photographs of camp activities and services during the camp session. Each camper will receive a 4”x6” all-camp picture at the conclusion of the session. Cell phones are strictly prohibited, please see our cell phone policy.
Camp Activities: Life at camp takes full advantage of our outdoor setting. Activities include field sports, campfires, group games, crafts, and swimming. Weather is unpredictable and rainy days can be frequent, we have a large indoor space to accommodate indoor activities.
Conduct: All campers are expected to act in ways appropriate to an Orthodox Christian setting. While all disciplinary action will be taken to attempt resolution on site, the Camp Director reserves the right to dismiss campers for gross violations of camp rules. Parents will be responsible for arranging and covering costs for their child’s early departure.
Pick Up & Drop Off: Campers must arrive at camp on Sundays at the beginning of their session between 2-4pm. All parents must leave by 5pm. All campers must be picked up on the Saturday at the end of their session between 9-12pm. All campers and parents must be off the grounds by 12:00pm to allow for counselors to properly clean and prepare for the next camp session.
